WHO WE ARE

The Saxe family name was found in the United States beginning in 1840. There were two Saxe families living in New York in the 1840's.

In 1880, "Farmer," "Housekeeper" and "Carpenter" were the top three reported occupations worked by members of the Saxe families. The most common occupation was "Farmer." 27% of all Saxes were Farmers during that time.  A less common occupation in the 1880's for Saxe family members was "Grocer."

Since the late 1800's many Saxes have varying and notable professions:
